ITC, together with the OIF (Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie) and the Ministry of Trade of Senegal launched on the 11th of April the “Made in Senegal” Project. This project is meant to strengthen e-solutions skills among young entrepreneurs in Senegal, and the “Made in Senegal” platform will be built to provide support to 20 young entrepreneurs to help them internationalize their businesses.

The innovation component is a key part of this project, answering to the need of providing more innovative support and concrete solutions to digitalize businesses, thus complementing the existing institutional support.

ITC will provide training to the selected entrepreneurs on several issues, including how to best promote their products on the platform, digitization and how to manage customer relationships. According to Ms. Aicha Agne Pouye, Director of Market Division of ITC, the project will help promote a structural transformation of the economy and social inclusion.
